Less Logs for Christmas 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 from Virtual Quilter

Looks interesting and a bit weird!

A neat and tidy design, but one which looks as though I could have some fun playing with it!

I like the one above …

… and the one below.

The two designs above are both very interesting and would look great on a bed.

The last one for today would look stunning in a lot of different colour combinations.

I love the group photo … being able to see the five designs at a glance is always interesting, but these are a great combination in my never really humble opinion.

Annie Clover at Christmas 29, 30 from Virtual Quilter

Very interesting!

I like my Christmas decorations to be red, white and green, with golden highlights … these two designs fit perfectly.

A Spoonful of White Christmas 1, 2 from Virtual Quilter

Love the design … and love the colours for Christmas.

I like the second design too, particularly the quilting thread colour … I would use white thread for a filler design.

This is a new project file, but it is really just a continuation of a couple of previous files with a colour change. I still like the previous colours so will continue to share them sometimes.

Christmas Lights on Quilts 1, 2 from Virtual Quilter

Something new and different for Christmas this year … lights that don’t need either batteries or to be plugged in to a power source.

Wonder if there is any shiny or sparkling fabric on the market which would be suitable?

A 9 Patch ‘n’ Apps Christmas from Virtual Quilter

Love the first design … would make a great table cloth, except for the chance that someone would spill the cream on the cloth rather than pour it on the pudding!

Love the second one too, and as we have a special quilt for the bed already, perhaps I would find a spot to hang it on a wall.

A Spoonful of Christmas OP 13, 14 from Virtual Quilter

I would like the above design any time of the year.

I like the second design too.

It’s Almost Christmas 15, 16 from Virtual Quilter

The plan for today is to do everything I can to make our Christmas Day a good one.

Our day will be spent with a small part of my family, including the youngest great niece, and is part of the build up to a larger gathering at home on New Years Day.

I wish all of you a very merry Christmas, and hope your day is a great one.

Aunt Flo’s Christmas 13, 14 from Virtual Quilter

These designs have a very lacy look, which is why they got the title from Aunty Flo, as she did a lot of tatting.

Lovely!

Annie Clover’s Christmas Quilts 15, 16 from Virtual Quilter

Love the first design! The colours are great, the quilting is great … etc.

The border could perhaps be more ornate, but our bedroom is rather small and so the border is not really visible so a plain border would be fine in that room.

Love the second design too.

Cabin Fever Christmas Edition 61, 62, 63, 64, 65 from Virtual Quilter

The red fabrics look sparkly!

I already have far too many Christmas decorations but I really want to print a whole heap of quilt designs to use on Christmas trees, and as banners.

Perhaps I will have to cull some of my Christmas stash so I can add new bits to the collection.

In the meantime I will have to finish putting up some of my favourite decorations today.

At least i have posted all the Christmas mail.

More Log Cabin designs mid week next week.

Annie Clover at Christmas 24, 25, 26 from Virtual Quilter

Even with the one block not coloured the same as the others of it’s kind, I love it!

By comparison the second designs is nice, but doesn’t have the WOW factor.

Another nice one! I like the border colours better in this one.

EQ and Me at Christmas 13, 14 from Virtual Quilter

EQ and Me got that title simply because it features blocks from the Electric Quilt Library, modified and used in designs by me.

Electric quilt has also been used in designing Christmas cards many times over the years, and designs to applique on Christmas stockings, tablecloths, invitations to Christmas events, and of course wall hangings and quilts.

I have also used EQ to draw diagrams and patterns for everything from home made Christmas trees, dolls of many shapes and sizes including Santa, also many tree decorations. Without EQ my Christmas decorations would be a lot more limited than they are ...

Red and Green Quilted 13, 14 from Virtual Quilter

I love it., but I love anything in traditional Christmas colours. Perfect size for a queen size bed if the blocks were made 12 inches square.

Love the second design too and the quilting would look great in white thread on the dark red.

Christmas Beading 27, 28 from Virtual Quilter

The first design almost looks like flashing lights.

I need more strings of beads to drape around a Christmas tree! Great replacement for tinsel.

Christmas Hi 5s 12, 13, 14 from Virtual Quilter

Merry and bright for Christmas!

I much prefer applique to piecing, but even I could be tempted to make something like these.

Wonder if I could find a bright red with green and white tartan fabric!
